Valerie Minnich, MS

TeenHope Research & Development Coordinator

Valerie Minnich has worked at Samaritan as the TeenHope Research and Development Coordinator since December 2020. In this role, Valerie gathers data from the TeenHope screening program to present to Samaritan and its donors. She also works on program development and grant writing. Valerie graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2018 with a master’s degree in professional counseling and an emphasis in marriage and family counseling. She is currently enrolled in a doctorate in psychology program with an emphasis in human cognition. Valerie also has 4 years of clinical experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her young family, including three girls ages 6, 4, and 2, and a baby boy arriving later this summer. Together they explore nature, cook, bake, read, and enjoy their 2 dogs. When not in a global pandemic, they also host multiple friend and family gatherings throughout the year and enjoys many church activities.
