Lynn Sommer, MEd, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Lynn is a licensed professional counselor who received her master’s in counseling from West Chester University in 2004. She has 23 years of experience as a special educator, teaching all ages and all disabilities, prior to providing interventions as a school counselor. Lynn also has expertise in behavioral interventions and the group process with children and adolescents. Her humanistic approach to counseling incorporates psychodynamic, solution-focused and cognitive behavioral interventions. Lynn enjoys weaving art and play therapy into the therapeutic process. She also works with children, adolescents and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, learning challenges, stress management issues, ADHD, and anger management issues, as well as children experiencing blended families. She enjoys helping young adults and children build resilience and self-advocacy skills.
