Ripples of Hope & Healing: The Many Colors of Creativity

Join us as at Calvary Church on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. as we celebrate our 26th Anniversary of Women Helping Women. This year’s Silent Samaritan luncheon features poetry, music, art and a keynote from Diane Brandt.

Diane Brandt, local liturgical artist and spiritual director, will share how partnering with the divine offers a way to move beyond the limitations of our fear-based thinking and enter the spacious terrain of the heart. There will also be poetry by Judith Kennedy, and music by Douglas Thomas Smith and Lauren Coyler Slesser. Cathy Gelatka, a Samaritan board member and former Silent Samaritan chair, will serve as the emcee for the luncheon.

The Silent Samaritans are a group of women focused on helping other women who seek counseling but are at a time and place in their lives where they cannot afford it. Since their inception in 1996, this group has raised more than $1.4 million dollars for women in our Lancaster County community.
