Judith Kennedy, MS, MA, NCC, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Judith is a Licensed and Board-Certified Professional Counselor with degrees in both clinical psychology and religious studies from Millersville and Syracuse Universities. Her work in the field of therapy for more than 25 years continues to evolve. She believes therapy provides a safe place to voice and experience what is currently stirring in one’s life, including relational patterns. She assists in finding fulfillment and purpose in all stages of life. She sees individuals for life transition, grief, trauma, depression, and anxiety. She welcomes diversity and uses an integrative approach, which is spiritually sensitive and incorporates mindful self-compassion. Judith has training in emotion-focused therapy which facilitates movement out of negative relational patterns and processes core beliefs about self and other. She is currently continuing her longstanding study of the role of dreams in processing difficult emotions and perceptions as a result of trauma and grief. She has written about the role of sleep in mental and emotional well-being. Judith sees writing, reading, and time in nature as pathways for healing.
