Join a Safe Church Cluster

Our next Safe Church Cluster will begin January  27, 2018 This cluster currently includes churches from Berks, Lebanon and Dauphin Counties, however, churches from other counties may enroll as long as the core team is willing to travel to the base location for the five Cluster meetings, as well as the staff and volunteer training. Our Lancaster-based team facilitates Clusters throughout the Susquehanna Valley. If you don’t see a Cluster location close to your church, contact us!  We encourage churches to download, complete and return the enrollment form as soon as possible to secure a spot. Please click on the links below to learn more about how our program works. After completion, churches continue to receive support from the Samaritan Safe Church team and become part of a growing network of congregations committed to making God’s dream of keeping children safe from sexual harm a reality.

Pre-registration is required. Click on the following links for an overview of the Safe Church Project Scope ;  the Safe Church Syllabus ;  or Frequently Asked Questions. Enrollment forms are available for new churches as well as returning churches that want some refresher training.

IF YOUR RESIDE OUTSIDE OF SOUTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA and are interested in bringing Safe Church to your area, visit our Safe Church Facilitator training page.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule a member of the Safe Church team to meet with you to discuss possible enrollment, please contact Deb Helt, Senior Facilitator & Congregation Support Specialist. She can be reached at or 717-560-9969 extension 273.
