Bomberger’s Store
Located just north of Lititz, Bomberger’s Store has been in business for over 100 years. In 1887, a small trading post, known as the John Gable General Store, was renamed to Bomberger’s General Store and offered everything from bread and milk, to hammer and nails. Today, Bomberger’s remains a family owned and operated store, and is designed to be a modern country store; an old business offering all the items modern-day shoppers want! Aiming for a more relaxed pace of shopping, customers are invited to take their time, look around and enjoy their visit. Valuing hard work and customer satisfaction,
Bomberger’s is dedicated to the things that last.

Ephrata National Bank
Much has changed since Ephrata National Bank first opened in 1881. However, their commitment to customers in Lancaster County and the surrounding areas has not. For over 100 years, they have been committed to providing outstanding service and an unrelenting commitment to the local community. In 2015, they celebrated “50 years of giving back to the next generation” with the J. Harry Hibshman Scholarship. A former President of Ephrata National Bank, he left his fortune of $1.5 million in blue-chip investments in a scholarship trust fund for deserving students pursuing higher education. Through his foresight, he has single-handedly made it possible for an unprecedented number of students in the Ephrata School District to qualify for $3,000/year, for up to four years. Awarded to students based on financial need, academic achievement, extra-curricular involvement and the successful completion of an interview with the five-member scholarship committee, the scholarship is a true honor and testament to the hard work and commitment of so many Ephrata High School students. To date, more than 3,800 lives have been changed through the more than $22 million invested into the next generation.
